For many people, CBD has not worked for some reason of another. One major reason is because they aren’t taking the right amount. We are all unique and process CBD differently, so the dosage for you will likely be different than the person next to you. With CBD Isolate, you have to be even more accurate, because if you take too much, the effectiveness can actually diminish!
I created the graph with the bell curve to demonstrate approximately how CBD Isolate effects the anti-inflammatory response. In a 2014 study done by Pharmacology & Pharmacy, “CBD Isolate showed a bell-shaped dose-response, where a therapeutic response could only be achieved at a certain concentration.” It is recommended that you experiment with the dosage until you feel the desired therapeutic response, then make sure you take that much every time for maximum effectiveness.
On the other hand, Full Spectrum CBD or whole plant CBD does not seem to have the same bell curve. In a recent study published by Lautenberg Center for General and Tumor Immunology in Jerusalem concluded that, “the whole plant extract, which contained a large percentage of CBD but also contained traces of the other cannabinoids, proved far more effective than CBD-only solutions in alleviating inflammation and pain sensation.” It is also interesting to note, that the study revealed that as the dosages went up, the therapeutic effects continued to rise, suggesting that there is not the same bell curve of effectiveness as CBD Isolate.
